CS Executive 2026

The CS Executive Programme is the second stage of the Company Secretary course in India. It is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Students can get admission to the CS Executive programme either by qualifying the CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test) or through the Direct Entry route. 

The CS Executive course has two parts, designed to provide a solid, systematic foundation in company law, corporate governance, taxation, securities law, and financial management, and Accounts

Exams are held twice yearly in June and December.

 

CS Executive Eligibility 2026

  • Candidates must clear the CSEET to be eligible for the Executive Course. 
  • Graduates/ Post Graduates/ CA Final Pass students/ CMA Final Pass students /students appearing in the final year or final Semester Examination of Graduation (can register provisionally), being Direct Entry candidates, are exempt from undergoing the CSEET exam.


Exam Details

  • The exam is held in a Centre-based offline mode. 
  • In all, there are seven papers, four in Module I and three in Module II. 
  • With 100 marks for each paper, totalling to 700 marks in all.
  • Criteria for Passing: a forty per cent mark in each paper and a fifty per cent mark aggregate in each Module
