Being a corporate planner and a strategic manager, a Company Secretary is responsible for all regulatory compliances of the company .A qualified CS can either be employed by a company or can start his/her own practice.

CSEET (Entrance exam)
Both graduates and post graduates will have to clear CSEET exams to be eligible for CS Executive. Exams will be conducted in the month of May, July, November and January. The following subjects are included:
CS EXECUTIVE
Students who have cleared CSEET can appear for CS Executive. CS Executive consists of 2 modules.

CS PROFESSIONAL
A candidate who cleared CS executive is eligible for CS professional exams. There are 3 modules in this stage.

Versatile enough to carry out functions in the field of finance, operations, human resource and legal administration. Not just the private sector, Government financial institutions, Stock exchanges and Nationalised banks also offer job opportunity for Company secretaries.
Any student who completed 12th or appearing for 12th can register for CSEET. Students should register 9 months prior to the exam dates. Students who cleared CSEET can apply for CS executive. After the completion of CS executive and required period of articleship one can register for CS Professional.
